Gabriele Blumberg is a German-born artist based in Cape Town. Her paintings explore memory, emotional presence and fragile inner structures through fragmented figures and atmospheric landscapes.

Recently, her practice has focused on the fault lines within human experience - the unpredictable shifts and emotional fractures that shape identity, memory and landscape - expressed through intuitive markmaking, layered textures and fragmented forms.

Her work has been exhibited at SASA Gallery, Kirstenbosch, Bellville Art Centre and Ghuba Gallery, Hout Bay.

She was also a finalist in the Vuleka Art Competition 2024
